After years running kitchens at iconic venues like Wembley Stadium and Madison Square Garden, and touring with some of the biggest music acts, Mat returned home to create unforgettable dining experiences infused with authentic Southern hospitality.
From intimate weddings and corporate events to community celebrations and private parties, MASH Catering delivers fresh, flavour-packed menus crafted from seasonal, locally sourced Southland produce. Mat and his expert team specialise in versatile catering styles to suit any occasion.
Choose from interactive Food Stations where guests customise their plates, lively Fire and Dine cooking featuring whole spit-roasted beasts and wood-fired BBQ, or elegantly designed Shared Platter Dinners and Buffet Feasts for effortless enjoyment. For casual or outdoor gatherings, our popular Street Food Trailer Package offers gourmet dishes on wheels, perfect for festivals and events across Southland.
MASH Catering is the in-house caterer for Anderson House and The Hideaway 201, delivering exceptional food and service in these stunning Southland venues. We’re also proud to be a preferred caterer for iconic event spaces including The Civic Theatre, The Scottish Hall, and River Ridge Retreat.
